Like everything else, the pandemic is making the holidays extra challenging this year, but where there’s a will — and holiday spirit — there’s a way! While some old standard events have been cancelled or altered this year, as you’ll see by this list, there are still many, many ways to celebrate the season on both shores, plus virtual options.
We’ve divided the list into categories — Santa visits, ongoing events, and single-day events — then, put them in chronological order. Start packing those holiday calendars!
NOTE: Just as we were about to publish this post, climbing coronavirus rates made it necessary for Louisiana to move back into phase two (click here to see what that means), so be sure to visit the links provided to the individual websites to see if this means changes to or cancellations of the events.
