About Encore Summer Camps

Encore Summer Camps take place at Encore Studio of Dance, Tumbling, Music & Theatre.

Encore is located in a safe, well-lit, commercial area in Harahan and River Ridge. Retail Shops, restaurants, and coffee houses are within walking distance. We’re just a short drive from Kenner, Metairie, and New Orleans.

All summer camps take place in our 3500 square foot facility that provides two professional dance / tumbling spaces, a waiting / reception area, and a multimedia green-screen room. Safety and injury prevention are very important to us. Our floating dance floor is installed above a raised subfloor that is designed to provide dancers with absorption and resilience. If the floor is not absorbent, the body becomes the shock absorber, resulting in fatigue, pain, and injury. This design also provides a non-slip surface and lateral support.

We offer summer camps and dance classes in tap, ballet, jazz, hip hop, musical theatre, music, as well as adult tap classes, and a Mom & Tot class

Our variety of performing arts camps means summer fun for everyone! Because we set a positive, creative, fun, educational environment, the top artists in the city and beyond look forward to working the Encore summer programs. We are assembling a variety of musical directors and choreographers to work with the students this summer. No experience is necessary to join in on the fun!

Camps were completely full last year. We limit our enrollment, so register early!

At Encore Studio of Dance, Tumbling, Music & Theatre, we offer a wide variety of Summer Camps and Classes for kids ages 3 – teen. Families join us every summer from River Ridge, Harahan, Kenner, Metairie, and Greater New Orleans. Our performing arts summer camps and classes range from dance, tumbling, musical theater, piano and voice/singing. Join us for fun at camp and on stage!
